Conservation & Technology
The real heroes of environmental integration are the people pushing the limits of our knowledge of nature, inventing new ways for us to live well with less negative impact, or carrying out the difficult work of environmental remediation and conservation. The Evergreen Exchange organizes these professionals into two categories: Conservationists include efforts to harmonize human activity with nature through the modification or remediation of environmental systems. Technologists represent efforts to advance technologies and systems in a manner that delivers improved human living conditions while reducing or eliminating environmental impact.
EXQUISITE MINT CURATION
The Evergreen Exchange is not a public marketplace. Impact Producers apply for listing on our exchange and undergo rigorous evaluation through our proprietary Kinetic Anchoring Process (KAP). This process is designed to assure every impact producer on our registry has been validated to the highest scientific standards, applies persistent or tracible monitoring and reporting measures, and provides an absolute and unbroken legal provenance of impact production. The full body of scientific validation, legal provenance, and technical treatment is consolidated in an anchor constitution, along with reporting, and other supporting documentation and minted to the blockchain which assure total immutability and traceability of impact asset lifecycle. This consolidated body of information establishes legitimacy of performance and assures our offsetting firms are delivered only assets of the highest quality.
Conservationists
Conservationists work to harmonize human activity with nature through environmental modification activities. These activities vary widely and are arrayed at achieving a variety of results including carbon sequestration, water eutrophication, biodiversity, urban cooling and other meaningful objectives. Some examples of conservation work includes reforestation efforts, peatland restoration, seagrass planting, beekeeping and many others.
Technologists
Technologists work to harmonize human activity with nature through the invention, adaptation and refinement of human technologies and systems. Similarly to Conservationists, these activities vary widely and are arrayed at delivering equivalent or superior productive capacities which provide people with goods, service and otherwise capabilities with a reduced or eliminated environmental impact. Some examples of technologist work includes advanced food production, renewable energy generation, or air purification systems.
